Terms of use
The terms for using this site, a free sandbox key, the API at api.riskrouter.eu and the hosted MCP
endpoint at api.riskrouter.eu/mcp while RiskRouter is a validation build. Written to be read in five
minutes. Last changed 24 October 2026.
The short version
- Price
- Free. Nothing commercial takes effect before the activity is authorised; the application is pending in Brussels.
- What you send
- A SHA-256 digest and a short tag. Never the record, never personal data.
- Permanence
- An entry can never be changed or deleted, by you or by us. That is the point of the log.
- Warranty
- None. The service is provided as it is, on a best-effort basis, without a service level.
- Law
- Belgian.
What you may use
Anyone may read the site, check a proof, take a free sandbox key and record digests with it, and connect an MCP client to the hosted endpoint. The verifiers, the conformance suite, the record templates and the recorders are published under the Apache License 2.0 (Verify); that licence, not these terms, governs what you do with their code.
Do not try to get around the limits on keys and entries, to reach anything that is not published, or to make the service unavailable to others. Do not present a seal as proving more than it does (below).
What you send
The evidence log accepts a SHA-256 digest with a short tag (and, if you choose, a position in a completeness chain or your own signature over them), and refuses a record or anything that is not a digest. Hash your own salted record and keep the record and the salt yourself. Do not put personal data in a tag, a chain tag or anything else you send: whatever you send is kept for as long as the log exists. What we hold, and why, is on Data protection.
Keys
Keep your key secret: anyone holding it can record entries in your name. We store only its SHA-256, so we cannot show it to you again. We may revoke a key that is used against these terms; the entries it recorded stay, because no entry is ever removed.
What we promise, and what we do not
We promise that no entry is ever changed or removed, that every signed head and proof can be checked with the published keys and open-source verifiers without asking us, and that an answer is never shown as a success it is not.
We do not promise availability, a response time or that the service will keep running unchanged. A seal shows that a record is the one that existed when it was sealed; it does not show that the record was true or complete, or that anyone met an obligation. Nothing on this site or in an answer of the API is legal advice.
Liability
The service is free and provided as it is during validation. To the extent Belgian law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data arising from its use or from its being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
Any change to these terms is dated on this page and listed on the changelog. Paid use, once the activity is authorised, will be under a written contract, never under a silent change to this page.
Who, and which law
RiskRouter is built and operated by Anil Jangra, in Brussels, as a validation prototype. No company has been registered yet; when one is, its name and registered address replace this paragraph. Questions: anil@riskrouter.eu. These terms are governed by Belgian law, and the courts of Brussels have jurisdiction, unless a rule that protects you as a consumer says otherwise.
